Iranians to hold Hazrat Fatemeh conference in Senegal

TEHRAN -- A conference on commemorating the dignity of Hazrat Fatemeh (SA), the daughter of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH), is to be held in Dakar, the capital of Senegal, on Thursday.
Iran’s cultural attaché in Senegal with the cooperation of the association of academic women of Senegal will hold the conference marking the Women’s Day, March 9.
Islam is the predominant religion in Senegal. Some 92 percent of the country's population is estimated to be Muslim. Islam has had a presence in Senegal since the 11th century.
